The winning tradition of the KMHS Lady Mustangs started immediately, as 2001—their first year of competition -- found them in the Georgia high school playoffs.  Ever since, the program has enjoyed great success, averaging more than 10 wins per season and contending for a playoff spot each year.  In 2004, with a 9-6-3 season, the girls missed the playoffs by one point, but have since returned to playoff action in 2005, 2006, and 2007.

In 2008, the Lady Mustangs had a 19-2 overall record, were 9-0 in Region 5AAAAA, won the 1st Region Championship, earned their 1st playoff win and made the Final Four.

Benefiting from a local area rich with soccer talent, the Lady Mustangs continue to set their sights high.
